Your legal rights: When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Our policy for in-store purchases: In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods to us with the original till receipt, in unopened packaging within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note. A refund may be offered based on the original payment method but only at the business owner's discretion.
Used items which have developed a fault (depending on how long ago the purchase was) may require inspection by the manufacturer to determine whether warranty, or fair usage/wear & tear applies, before repair, replacement, credit, or refund. Although this process will take some time, we will do our best to ensure any case of this type is handled in a timely manner.
We recommend you take our 6 Week Complimentary Tune Up & Safety Check (offered with your new bike) around 6 weeks after purchase. This is a break-in tune up to make adjustments for settling. It is not a maintenance service. You'll need to take advantage of this offer within 10 weeks of purchase.
Warranty work for parts and labour will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. In most cases this would be as follows:
The original owner shall pay all labour charges connected with the repair or replacement of all parts.
Under no circumstances does this include the cost of travel or shipment to and from Rock and Road Limited. Such costs, if any, shall be borne by the original owner.
