All new bikes purchased from Rock & Road Limited qualify for at least one complimentary Tune Up Service and check-over which we suggest after six weeks of use. Within the first six or so weeks of use, we would encourage you to let us know if you're encountering any problems, if something is not as it should be, or if there is anything else you are unsure about, so we can assess it with no charge.
Any 'Free Gift Card' we offer as an outright purchase incentive can be redeemed against any standard price item. A standard price item in our store is one sold at the MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) or normal ticket price or a loyal customer reduced price after your customer loyalty pricing has been applied.
Sale price bikes or bikes which are reduced to clear are priced for outright purchase and will not qualify for other incentives unless otherwise agreed by negotiation first.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it with your receipt, UNUSED—this includes bicycles, in saleable condition and in the original packaging with tags attached within 14 days of purchase and we will happily exchange it or provide a store credit. By law we are not required to offer a refund, but in some cases we may, based on the original payment method and at the business owner's discretion. This does not affect your statutory rights. Your statutory rights are outined in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and broadly refer to items adhering to (but not limited to) the following:
'goods being of satisfactory quality, goods not as described, goods not fit for purpose, goods to match a sample'
Failed items which have been used may require inspection by the manufacturer before replacement, repair, credit, or refund. Processing, handling & shipping charges in these cases shall be borne by the original owner but may be refunded if the fault is deemed to be warranty by the manufacturer
Special order items or custom build/altered specification bikes cannot be returned for refund or exchange except at the business owner's discretion.
We offer a free Tune Up Service with every new bike. This is a break-in service and is only to make adjustments for settling. It is not a maintenance service. We recommend the free Tune Up Service is taken within 6 weeks of purchase and must be taken within 10 weeks of purchase. If a higher level service is required above the free Tune Up Service, we may charge the difference in price for the work required.
Warranty work for parts and labour will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. In most cases this will be as follows:
The original owner shall pay all labour charges connected with the repair or replacement of all parts.
Under no circumstances does this include the cost of travel or shipment to and from Rock & Road Ltd. Such costs, if any, shall be borne by the original owner.
