The Allez Sprint Comp is an aluminium road bike that climbs, corners and kicks with the best of them. It’s simply the most advanced alloy road bike we’ve ever made, suitable for everyday road riding, or the cut-and-thrust of crit racing. Most importantly. it delivers that excellent performance at a price that’s accessible.
The ‘glue’ that holds the Allez Sprint Comp together is Specialized’s D’Aluisio Smartwled Sprint Technology. Put simply, this technique ensures there’s more welding material where it matters, guaranteeing a stiffer, but more compliant bike. In fact, it’s the stiffest aluminium bike we’ve ever tested.
The frame of the Allez Sprint Comp takes its inspiration from our Rider-First Engineered Tarmac, with a unique down tube, bottom bracket shell and head tube, plus fork sizes relevant to the specific frame size you ride, not just a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s all about ensuring that the ride experience is exactly the same, regardless of your particular body shape.
The Sprint Comp has shortened chainstays, which ensures a stiff and rigid rear triangle, so every ounce of power you produce is put directly into the road. Hydroformed tubes boost the aero performance, optimised to slice through the air as you pursue your prey, be that the riders in the breakaway, or the commuters you ‘race’ every morning. The tubes also benefit from built-in compliance.
It’s specced with Shimano 105 shifting, DT R460 alloy wheels and a super-comfortable Body Geometry Toupé saddle. More than just a great alloy bike, the Allez Sprint Comp is a truly great bike.
- E5 Premium Aluminum frame with Allez D'Aluisio Smartweld Sprint Technology refocuses weld locations, allowing for more material to be placed where it's needed for increased stiffness and compliance where you really need it.
- Our top-tier S-Works FACT carbon fiber fork provides incredible stiffness and front end steering response, while also efficiently absorbing road chatter.
- The Venge FACT carbon fiber seatpost acts as a stiff, aerodynamic perch for your saddle.
